RUTHLESS BREWING?

My name is Brian and I create stuff for a living. Most of the time I’m making stuff for clients.  Logos, websites, print stuff, etc.  I love my work but like to find time outside of that environment to get my hands dirty creating things for myself.  Sometimes that is sculpting, sketching, DIY projects, or making beer.

I’ve just begun this hobby of milling grains, boiling water and making little yeast babies in it but it has taken hold pretty strong.  I’ve made this site to document what I have done, where it’s gone wrong and some victories to share along the way.  Know that most of what I know, I learned from others and this site is as much a credit to their willingness to share as my tenacity to learn.

Cheers!

FROM THE BREWERY

Here you will find recipes shaped by myself or shared by others.  More than a handful of DIY projects to build or enhance your own home brewing.  As well as some ramblings about making, judging, drinking, selling, marketing, and pretty much anything beer.  Cheers.

I’m always down to talk about beer.  Wether its your first extract batch, 100th all-grain, or you own a brewery.  I geek out over the art, the engineering and the business of beer.

Please wait...

WHERE AM I?

The mountains of Virginia might not be a mecca for beer business but its getting there one great brewery at a time.  Its also not a bad place to spend a brew day.
